This session had a playful quality for me. After establishing the melodic phrase, for my first exploration, I went all VP on it.
My second exploration centered around the upper range of my voice, the precision and clarity of my tone when I jump from one octave to another.
My third exploration used lyrics on the fly, which wasn't as difficult as I expected, but I kept it short anyway. I then followed that up with different forays into the extremes of my range. Jumping from a bass groove to the solo spot, and back again.
I played with juxtaposing different rhythms and tempi, and had a blast. This is something I need to explore further.
